In the 90s there was a dominating effervescent tablet brand in Central Eastern Europe maintaining a by far leading market share. The history of sana+ supplement division started in 1999 when the management of the former PEZ Hungary Kft. started to develop effervescent tablets. A few years later they became market leaders on the local market. Based on this success the company started to introduce the products on the most successful export markets of the mother company. The feedback was very positive and this was the reason why the first Sanaplus Kft. was launched at the end of 2004. As a new and independent legal entity sana+ actively started to expand its business internationally. Effervescent tablets were still the flagship products but a whole new product category was developed in the next years. The company today produces a wide product portfolio of tablets with or without film coating, chewable tablets, dextrose tablets, sticks, multivitamin lollypops and drink powders.
